– from Mornac, LaRochelle, France. Wealthy vineyard Huguenot. Huguenots were persecuted by the religious/Royal /Government, so they burned /left everything in secret & left, between 1685 & 1686. He left w wife Jeanne & 5 children, but he arrived in New York with only 5 children. In 1700 cencus he was in New Rochester NY & build the first America Secord home & owned a silkworm factory. 1688 he build the first Huguenot church in NY & its first entre was MADELEINE SECORD B 22 Oct 1688, daughter of AMBROISE SECORD JR [Grand daughter of AMBROISE SECORD SR].

History of Secord in France
Earliest Ancestor authentically recorded from Sicard is Ambrose Sicard, A French Huguenot that fled from France upon revoication of the edict of Nantes in 1685. Henry IV had issued the edict of Nantes to protect the civil & religious rights & liberties of his Protestant subjects. We do not know where Ambrose Sicord was born, but it is conjected that he resided at LaRochelle at least during the later years of his residence in France. LaRochelle was the principal Huguenots centre to which Hugenots from all parts of France gravitated to in self protection from the ever increasing wave of persecution. They were able to stand the persecution until after the death of cardinal Mezarin in 1661. Reighn of Louis XIV. Thereafter in violence of the edict of Nantes, the Huguenots were prohibited from maintaining any church or place of public worship, from holding religious service in their homes, from reading or possessing the bible. Their homes Churches & schools properties were confiscated, they were denied the protection of law & the exercise of any civel rights. Their homes were subject to ruthless searches day & night & they were deprived of all means of self defences.
Because they refused to give up their bibles or be converted to the “True faith” , these peacfull devout people were sentenced to prison, the galleys., the torcher wheel & death. In spite of this all thisw, every family had its bible hidden away to be brought out every evening & read with doors locked & windows covered. Death by torture was the penalty for trying to flee the country but thousands escaped to Holland. Germany, Switzerlkand, Sweeden, South Africa & America, taking with them their bibles & their faith, but their disciplined way of life & a zeal for liberty, their adopted land proswpered by their coming from their examples of thrift & enterprise & hard work.
According to the census in 1700 taken at New Rochelle New York, Ambrose Sicard was born in 1631 & Married in 1666 & his eldest son Ambrose Sicard Jr was born & at least 4 other children were born to him. Daniel B 1672 d 1749, Jacques in 1675 & Marie B 1677 & Silvie B 1679. Ambrose Sr seems to have been the man of some means & position at the time of the founding of the French Settlement of New Rochelle New York in 1689. Tradition has it he was engaged in manufacturing of silk, a tradition in which many Huguenots had acquired a special skill.
We know nothing of his method or route of escape from France but there is as tradition that he first went to the west Indies where a Hugenot colony had been previously established. We do not know his wifes name (? Jeanne) or whether she ever left France, but believe she did. We do know that Ambrose Sicard arrived in New York , city about 1696, bringing w him his 5 children & his bible, his determined devotion to liberty & his hate of intolerance.
In 1688 the Huguenots lived in New York City organized a French Hugenot church known as the L’Eglise de St Espit & Ambrose Sicard was a founding member active in its affairs until French church was organized at New Rochelle. L’Eglise de St Espit is now located at East 60th Street., New York City, still conducts the service in French & the New York Historical Society now has the old records of the church. The first entry recorded is the baptism on Nov 14 1688 of Madelaine Sicard, the first grandchild of Ambrose Sicard. She was born 22 Oct 1688, daughter of Ambrose Sicard Jr & Jeanne Perron>Secord Through faded & worn & all but indecipherable, it is the earliest written evidence of Ambrose Sicard being in Ney York America. It reads -; Baptesme – Le dimanche quartiesme novembre mil six cant quatre vingt huit madelayne Fille de Ambrose Sicard et de Jeanne Perron ses peres et mere a este presentee au baptesme parbrandre Jolin parin at Madelayne Vincent maraine at baptisse per mon piersit nostre minister la ditte madelayne nee le lundy vingt deux d’octtonre devr.
Ambrose Sicard became one of the organizers of the French settlement at New Rochelle in 1689 & shortly thereafter removed from New York City to New Rochelle, where he accuired several tracts of land. He was active in the affairs of the French Church at New Rochelle, & offices. A picture of the first sicard home in America built buy Ambrose Sicard before 1700 is in the possession of Edward Secord of St Catharines On Ca.
On Feb 6 1696 Ambrose Sr & his sons Ambrose Jr, Daniel, & Jacques took allegiance to King William & Queen Mary of England [all his sons, but not his 2 daughters, Maria Secord B 1677 & Silvie]
Ambrose Sicard died sometime between 1710 when he executed a deed & 1712, when in a deed by his son he is described as their “Honored father”. Neither the date of his death nor the place of his burial are known. He left a will dated 28 March 1701 & a copy still exists in the record of the town of New Rochelle. Written in French, it is signed by himself by his mark & subscription by his children to evidence their approbation.
Through Ambrose Sicard & his children after him lived in or near New Rochelle, Wesrchester County, New York, his grand children spread out into adjoining counties. Generally speaking the children of Ambrose Jr & Daniel & 2 of his daughters remained east of the Hudson, moving northward into what are now Putnam & Dutchess counties. Most of his children of his son Jacques pioneere into the wilds of Rockland county, west of the Hudson. The descendants of Sicard families living west of the Hudson in Rockland county, influenced by the Dutch among whom they lived & intermarried adopting the spelling “Secor” . East of the river it was gradually transformed to “Secod” through a few of later generations dropped the “D”. This difference is well evident & often helps to determine the lineage of the individual. For instance, the branch of the family which settled shortly after the Revolution at Napanee & Scarboro north of Lake Ontario were descendents of Jacques, 3rd son of Ambrose, emanating from the Rockland county branch used the form “Secor” , while the Niagara Peninsula branch used the form Secord”. No branches of the family retained the original French form of ”Sicard” & a few ultimately adopted the forms “Seacord”, Secoy”.

Daniel l [the second son of Ambrose], had at least seven/7 children. His eldest son Daniel ll born 1698 married Catharine Mabie & were parents of i] John; ii] Peter & iii] James of loyalist fame. [Daniel l & John direct line]
John Secord was born 1725 & married Phoebe Travis. They had five/5 children – Sarah, Mary, Catherine, John, & Daniel. They lived in or near Cortlandt Manor, in Westchester county NY until shortly before the Revolution, when they removed to the Susquehanna Valley in NorthEastern Pennsylvania. When the Revolution came, before a committee of safety, John was accused & denounced as acting as a spy for the British. He was characterized by the committee as a “bad, bold man”, he was bold, but his subsequent life & charitable works belie the accusation that he was bad. Peter Secordwas born 24 April 1732 & lived in or near Cortlandt Manor, Westchester co, NY. until the Revolution when he went to Fort Niagara. He had twelve/12 children w 2 wives, one names Silas born 1755
James Secord was B 24 April 1732 at New Rochelle & married Madelaine Badeau>Secord . They live in or near New Rochelle NY & Married Madeliane Budeau>Secord. They lived in or near New Rochelle NY until shortly before the Revolution when they removed to the Susquehanna Valley & settles near his brother John. James had eight/8 children – Solomon B 1755, Stephen B 1757, David B 1759 & James B 1762, Magdalene B 1764, Ester B 1766, Mary B 1770 & James 1773.
Father Daniel & son Peter & his son Silas, John & his son John Jr., James & his sons Solomon, Stephen, David all joined the British forces at Fort Niagara & served in the Butler’s Rangers throughout the Revolution.
in 1777 a group of five/5 woman with thirtyone/31 children arrived at Fort Niagara having only one pair of shoes among them. One of these woman was Madekaine Badeau>Secord, wife of James. Her husband & older sons Solomon (1775-1799), Stephen (1757 – 1808), David (1759 – 1844) & father-in-law & brother-in-laws w their son, were serving with the British at Fort Niagara. At that time Madeleine had five/5 younger children – John (b1762) was the eldest – age 15, Magdalen (1764 – 1827) Ester (1759), Mary & James (1773 – 1841 age 4 (who later married Laura Ingelson>Secord) John Secord/Phoebe Travis. had five/5 children – Sarah, Mary, Catherine, John, & Daniel, [John was with John at fort Niagara] Could Phoeby have been one of the ladies & their children Sarah, Mary, Catherine & Daniel [Daniel Sharp ancestor branch, so direct line] been amongst the children?
Madeleine & other woman {? Phoebe Travis>Secord} & their younger children, must have encountered tremendous difficulties & dangers & even hunger in their walk across NY to Fort Niagara. Though they would have travelled by canoe where possible, there were possible there was always dangers from wild animals, the war/enemy or unfriendly Indians. Loyalist sympathizers & Indians undoubtedly helped to shelter, feed & guide them, but, never-the-less, the heroic brave feat of such woman/children should never be forgotten.
At the close of the Revolution, Peter, John, James took up land in the neighborhood of Niagara, but Peter & his family removed to Charlottesville in Norfolk county with his cousin Frederick Mabee. John Jr son of John re-located in or near Ancaster. James died in 1784 but his widow & children continued to live about Niagara.

1777- 5 Secord woman [Madeleaine Bedeaue>Secord + 4 others] walked 31 children from their homes in Pennsylvania/NY to Niagara fort, through war, wild animals & Indians, hunger ended with one pair shoes between them. Niagara Fort discovered this group were walking to them, so sent soldiers out to find them, & found out who they were & took them to fort Niagara. . The youngest child in the family trek was 3 year old JAMES SECARD B 1773 M LAURA INGERSOL>SECARD from Masseuses via INGERSON. [Ingersol Norsworthy haunted house.] [LAURA INGERSOL>SECARD of fame for Beaver Dam warning & meeting Prince Edward [future king of Britten} later Secard chocolates.]
LAURA was a school teacher & her husband James, was a lawyer, fighting for Brits, against America, he was injured on battle field & was to be shot, Laura ran out onto the battle field & begged them not to, they were so impressed with her actions, bravery & proud of her, they never shot him [but he much later died of infection] then these American soldiers used her home [they obtained from their nephew, near Queenston & Niagara on the lake, Ontario Canada] as their head- quarters. Laura overheard them planning a surprise attack on the British camp {FitzGibens}. Laura – pretended to go to milk their cow, took the milking stool, but took her skates & skated to warn the British camp, but collapsed near Beaver dam, before she made it. Local Indian found her & took her to the British camp & she warned them, so they prepared for the attack. This turned the tide of war [BeaverDam battle where n0t a bullet was fired] & British won, so Canada became British, not part of America, who moved to other side Niagara river.
Broke widow Lora Secord, to financially make ends meet,teacher by day while she made chocolate candies in her kitchen & sold them to locals. When the future king of Britten [Prince Edward] who abdicated, came to visit, along w war vets, it was customary to introduce him to some one of importance, who they paid $100. She was introduced & received $100, which she used to start Secard Chocolate factory. Apparently Laura Ingersol> Secard was so ugly, they did not want to use her pictures on the chocolates, not even her face profile, as she had a big wart on her nose, so some one else’s profile was used. [When you eat a Secord chocolate, you can think of her & how she saved Ontario/ ? upper Canada, to be British, for you].
Canada is not a country, but a corporation. (look on internet, head office on Pennsylvania Ave in Washington DC) It is not known who owns the corporation of Canada, but it is believed the lady on Canadian money, who has a GG here, to manage/control us [her corporation shuttle] & has our SS# as we are shuttles of the corporation, so if she decides to sell this corporation, you go with it – that is why MPP/MP have no controls, only there to keep the shuttle/Canadians happy.
The Sharp/Norsworthy family had worked on their family tree & when I asked if I could have a copy for my children’s [Mr Low] school project, I was told “if I could find out how Loura Ingels Secord Chocolate fitted in”, I went to many places to research this area. & excitedly found it & gave it to many, Sharp/Norsworthy family, School project & many who had helped me. I received an excited phonecall from St Catharine Library as they had received the research I was looking for, so went down to receive it,, to find it was what I had given them. I went to school for WWW sites (+/- 30 years ago) & put the Family [both sides] tree on.

I used to go to these reunions [Emma had died] & got to know her children/grandchildren, who were very nice & accepting of me; Doris Thompson [w her husband], used to live over the road from some great friends “Douglas”, after becoming a widow, sold her home, which was moved – before the Indian troubles [they used her old driveway]; I felt Doris was that reneration Family Matriarch, who nicely looked out after every one & lived a long life: Ilene/Milt Chesterman were very good, I appreciated Ilene help [to me] at Ciccie’s funeral, made sure I got a rose regardless of how Larry Ignore/abused me [I liked how Shirley arranged for relatives to be given roses from her wreath; also thanks to Jean for arranging their funerals] Lillian/I became good friend;. Spent many nice times at Jeannie & Mary & Edy/Edith home. Thanks to Irma [who looked after Sharp/Norsworthy reunion for years] & nice to me, she had a hard life in many way; She & husband went to USA & her young son was chased by rattler snake up the ladder & jumped into the water system to escape the snake, & drowned [my son Kyle reminded her of him] Ira has had several husbands ending up to care for them.

5.6] LESLIE MAURICE SHARP B 17 Aug 1908 Ancaster Canada D 2001 @ 93] M CISSIE KERKLAND from Douglas Isle of Man; Minister Kerkland/father brought all 16 children over on ? a cattle ship, they were a fighting family, father a drunk from wife/mother strict/manipulation, Cissie Kirkland was [according to Sharp ladies] a street beggar [assumable she was with child & claimed the wealthy single Sharp man, as father (Sharps had many farms & were wealthy, Leslie lived w his parents in the century home he was born in) As Lady of the farm, Cissie was not very nice to many, including her mother-in-law. [I witnessed or told, like barn raising w friends/workers/neighbors & afterwards they sat in the orchard drinking beer & Ciccie came & (in front af all) gave Leslie heel for drinking on her property & kicked them all off, Leslie was so embarrassed, also farm workers/neighbors treated him differently after that, so Leslie took no interest on the prime 100 acre completely stocked Ancaster farm w 100 year old home, & worked for municipal roads. He talked to his sisters about his situation & was told to take it for the sake of the children, (which he did from then on & never said anything again) farm rented out, meanwhile Leslie would climb out the window to sleep in the barn, rather then with her. When her daughter Jean/husband Ian Hattle moved to Alison (away from her)she/Cissie/mom sold their home [tried to get us to sell ours & purchase it a high cost, but no interest. Cissie still interfered with it & new owners] to follow them, so she could help/interfere w Jean/Ian [Ian mentioned his concern to me re this]- Later- they tried to pile her onto me, I was not allowed at meal table, unless I agreed to take her. I will write more about this & how she treated Jean/Ian, later.
When Leslie went to school, apparently he had a conk shell to blow & trained his horse to pick him up from school when he blew it.
[Ciccie & boys were cruel to animals, while I was away she drowned my cat w babies [she knew I had future homes for them – Larry had given them to me before, I later discovered to protect them from his mom] Ron used them for target practice, Ron ill-treated his dog, when mom spoke up, he killed it, Ron broke my cats leg! my mom was concerned how Larry treated out pets, with good reason, they hated Larry for the way he treated them – threw down stairs & across home. Larry/Ciccie/Ron] attitude, pets have to learn who is in charge by abusing/bullying them] If you don’t want the people to know the bad you do in secret, instead – don’t do it. Cissie always put wood up at my windows to keep the sun out [I come from sunny South Africa & suffer Seasonal Adjusting Disorder – so craved sun] Cissie did many rotten things to me – why did mom purchase us a home to move away from Cissie/into?

6.2] Ronald Leslie Sharp B 14 April 1940 [interesting storys], assumable unmarried/no children. He tried to rape me 3 times (new wife) informing me that was his right as older brother, I did not allow it [later the tea-totter mom claimed he was drunk & ill???](Ronald did not give us a wedding gift as we were not important enough to receive, rather fixed his car; apparently Ro was engaged but when she met his mom, she took off) Ronald did not work; many single car accidents [I was asked if Ron was trying to kill himself], mothers hell, so Ron did best thing he could & moved out to Alberta/Prairie; He visited us at home & treated me disgustingly, then wrote an abusive letter to me, which ‘”Design for new tomorrow – for abused ladies” participants felt I should show police & have him arrested, but I wrote a note thanking him & saying he is never welcome to our home or near our children, gave to someone to hold several days then mail, meanwhile I gave Larry a copy of my & Ron’s letter. Larry wrote a letter saying “although he is his older brother, how dare he insult Larry this way”. I included it w my letter. At His mothers funeral, Ron kept on standing in front on me ,as I walked, to intimidate me – lots more disgusting things.

the daughter of 1 of Kings of Roma, & M who took the Trojan sword from burning Troy, Lavinium [town after her] N
W of Roma; Lavinia was fantastic sport like soccer & baseball [played on many exceptional level teams] & education
[only one taken from school for special education as high Einstein IQ). Lavinia graduated from McGill University, very
young, then Korea 2 years teacher (toured) then Kathmandu Nepal 6 weeks to learn Buddha teachings, up to base camp
mount Everest, India 5 months (worked mother Teresa home for dyeing) helped out by blue burettes peace keepers
plane to Italy (toured Italy 6 weeks) Scotland toured w my family for 6 weeks, then home then worked in Washington DC
for (started by Ralph Nader) went through sept 11 & Anthrax threat, then shooting, then to Toronto (shooting &
Quarantined out then in “ASTR”) & lots more I am proud of her.

7.5] Kylvin Ryan Rolland Sharp B 13 Feb 1984 {was due on 29 Feb/leapyear underwater birth], man of home,
Dealt w troubles from his Dad to me affecting him [like fixing my car so we could get water to drink – 11*, I
was fetch/carry & keep him warm, ]but he helped & did well; moved by Dad insistence to Troy, hated this life
& Troy’s girl friend, then left to live w his girlfriend’s parents till Troy’s girlfriend caused troubles, left then ran
meanwhile managed Pizza chains, then joined Canada Navy; I am proud of him.
I AM VERY PLEASE/PROUD OF ALL MY KIDS, especially as a single mom w rotten interfering disappearing
father, WISH I COULD HAVE GIVEN MY KIDS THE ADVANTAGES I GOT (WISH THEY COULD HAVE MET MY DAD &
RECEIVED MY LIFE), instead of poor example of cult, stealing, abusive, rotten attitude, self-centered father, but
a good example & helper. I WISH THEY COULD HAVE GOT ALL NEEDED, instead of Larry helping himself to it. I
FEEL ALONE WITH-OUT MY CHILDREN, MISS THEM [but understand] & WISH THEM EVERYTHING, LIVE UP TO

My wedding Cissie underhandedly interfered so much [I was told she did not want my wedding to be better then Jeans, she gave] lied claiming the hall I had booked had phoned to cancel & arranged for me to go to her kids previous school classroom which overlooked the cemetery. Cissue decided how much my mom must pay & how few people I may have, did many rotten things like cancelling drinks [she is a tea-tottler, so I arranged non-alcoholic & alcoholic punch for guests to decide, she cancelled it without me knowing & when said “what are we to toast with, she insisted we wait while tea was made! She announced/decided I would opened my gifts, at wedding, (other gifts, when I got home I discovered she had opened & used or returned as not good enough. She did much interference that many left due to embarrassment for me, I wrote an apologizing letter to all. I wanted to dissolve the marriage as found out things[went to legal help], Cissie told me “too late, we got you now! I could write “a book of horror” about things this biblical basted did. Mom begged me NOT to marry into this family. I paid for mom to say at my place (in their home) while on our honeymoon, (which I Discovered nothing was paid, I was expected to do.) when I got home, I discovered mom had moved into a hotel, as she could not take Cissie nonsense any more.
Mom once told me you can tell much about a man in ways like help, A] will offer his arm & take you where you want to go at your speed B] Will grab a hold on your arm tightly, & you have to go where he wants & his speed & if you lose footing, he will pull you, as he gives you hell C] then the worst type/Larry type, A] when being seen & B] when not being seen & God help you with them.
When mom heard I was made to stay with them & the hell I was put through, my hell, My Dr even called Larry to say to take me away before I die, as my health had gone down so badly. Mom Paid for a home for us to live in, a distance away from Cissie, with a signed (Larry, mom, I signed) note witnessed by 2. that the home was in trust with me for my life) for her grand children by me, on my death. Larry did not live up to the agreement terms, but tried to have the home sold [us kicked out] for his cult, but Ont family court intervened, also took his name off everything. Mom was so concerned that Larry proved he had no intention of honoring his signed agreements, that she asked her other daughter, my sister in Scotland, & my daughter Lavinia, her grand daughter by me, to be additional trustees to help me. Larry Stole my “ID”, forged my signature many times in many big issues & declared me dead to authorities wrote legal looking illegal letters to home insurance, Also gave my rights ways. Now I survive in a disgusting sick broken home, not the $450,000 home mom gave us. Larry is again disappeared but causing troubles. I had asked De Hage (international courts) re assumed widow (disappeared from good paying job <7 years & longer deserted) when RCMP found him working in Ontario as apparently his cult kicked him out as too old to be productive when they can steal a teenager who can do more. He is working 3 years to obtain his OAS/Health care card (he told his paternal extended family he has the $ (assumable what he owes me) hidden to build himself a home, once he get OAS!! (He apparently is being a pest to them). When Larry was making $6000 month in USA, he turned 60 & came & got his CPP (not earning in Canada). When I suggested OAS give RCMP his address as they were searching for him on tax payers $, I got into serious trouble!! His Lawyer apparently is looking for him for non payment..
Larry has disappeared again, it is illegal to aid him. Larry claimed (in court) we were divorced 2002, yet no documents & lawyer looking for Larry – while Canada government research & I say “No we are not” What is my status? I have had to do lots to protect myself from being one of their many murdered!
Before mom got us this home. I/We were made to pay lots to live with them in our apartment in their big home. Cissie did many horrid things to me, made my life hell –a few examples a] Ciccie used to put wood up at my windows as I was not allowed to have sun-light in. I would remove them, I am from South Africa {Durban w best/longest sun a year} She would say, why don’t I understand she is in charge! b] She kept the place we paid for so cold, I wondered what made me so disabled, till nurses I worked with, worked it out & told me to turn the oven on, door open, & sit in front of it, it helped. c] She would steal my food & lots more
When I discovered Larry was not the professional he claimed (I could have accepted that, but not the planned lie) I put Larry though his high-school equivalent + 4 years collage [in every way] education & career; [Larry requested that in return he would keep me in fashion I was used to, if I gave up my more & higher qualifications to stay home to look after home/Family] Larry was so nice to me, till he got his qualifications & my money, then he showed his true character to me.
First Larry was so nice to me till after birth of his children & he got his education then his true character shown, this CO$ cult member, deserted [interfering but not paying but taking from us] then kidnapped me into the cult, I escaped after 5 months, then got their hell like a phone-call on our wedding anniversary, saying all the virtues of his cult/church [could hear him being prompted], then if I did not return to his church/cult, he would have to hate me & do everything he could to hurt me, then slammed the phone down {as usual] the truest words he has ever said. then he disappeared from a well-paying job (i got him his career)6+ years later I went to De Hage international courts for assumed widow status & FRO/RCMP found him working in Ont Canada & still not honoring/paying me my court ordered financial support, apparently the cult kicked him out as not able/too old to do as much as they demanded, when they could steal a teenager to do the work – he could not work in Mexico or swim the ocean, so he sneaked back into Canada to work for 3 years to obtain his OAS/CPP & health card [he told judge & relatives this] also told relatives he has hidden finances , he got from not paying my court ordered finance but stealing my $ including my 401K [USA compulsory savings in both our names] TO build himself a home. This is just a very small part of all he has done to us – lots of other interesting facts.
EX cult members or someone in – never trust police [as I was told by members of cult clambake] – their uniforms/cars are borrowed without asking or returning (stolen & who do police report it too?) I was given some things to avoid & did them & others to stay alive. One time the police stopped me w sirens/lights & I sat inside w windows little open. Refused to get out but insisted he had 3 min to put his police badge by the window & tell me all on it or I would active the 911 I had dialed on my cell phone, to verify he was police. He took off rather then be investigated, but why did he stop me & why was he scared of being verified?
I have written signed letters to many news media systems giving permission, if I am found dead by unusual means, I give my permission to write my story & use it what ever way they want. Then I wrote letter to international organization saying if anything unusual happens to me, to investigate CO$ cult & Larry, then I sent to COS cult telling them what I have done & if they remove me, they will be investigated & exposed. I am still alive.
